From data engineer to building useful tools
I’ve spent years solving real-world data and automation problems for teams and clients. easyfilesonline is one of the many side projects born from that journey — a place where I experiment, learn and share what I know.
How it started
I started my career in 2007 as a software engineer working with data in the Microsoft stack and later expanded into Qlik for dashboard development. As the industry evolved, I transitioned into the cloud and became a data engineer, working across modern data platforms and diving deep into Databricks.
Today, I also work in Generative AI using Python, FastAPI, LangChain and RAG to build practical, intelligent solutions.
Along the way I realised I enjoy two things deeply: building practical accelerators and explaining complex ideas in a simple way — whether to clients, colleagues or my own kids.
Why I built this site
easyfilesonline started as a simple experiment: “Can I create a clean, no-nonsense place where people can do everyday file tasks without ads, noise or friction?”
Every tool here — ZIP, UNZIP, image compression, PDF merge — exists because I needed it in real work during demos, PoCs and training sessions.
What I care about
I care about clarity, honesty and usefulness. If a tool doesn’t help someone tomorrow, it’s not worth shipping.
If you’re reading this, thank you. I hope something here makes your work a little easier or inspires you to build something of your own.

Principles that guide everything I build.
Learning by building
I learn by shipping real tools, then improving them through feedback.
Sharing knowledge
Turning experience into something others can reuse is what I enjoy most.
Practical first
Every feature should solve a real problem — not just look impressive.
